Simon Handley
Complete Marine Services is Simon's business. He sails boats, moves them, fixes them, rigs them, surveys them and teaches people to sail them.
From the Caribbean to the Saint John River
Before Complete Marine Services, Simon ran Rumline Sailing, a race and charter company based in St. Lucia that took sailors out on trips around the Caribbean.
Today his home port is the Fredericton Yacht Club on Lincoln Road. From there he works the Saint John River, the Bay of Fundy coast and offshore.

Simon holds a number of marine certificates. If your job needs a particular one, ask him and he will tell you what he holds and what it covers.
What he does
- Day charters: A day under sail on the Saint John River, with Simon running the boat.
- Sailing lessons: Learn to sail, or learn your own boat, on real water in real wind.
- Rigging: Standing and running rigging inspected, tuned and replaced.
- Repairs: Hull, deck, timber and fittings, fixed so they stay fixed.
- Insurance surveys: Condition and valuation surveys for your insurer, in writing.
- Yacht deliveries: Your boat taken where she needs to go by water, river, coast or offshore.
